SpaceX is averaging one launch every 6.94 days this year.

Re-usability has been desired by men for decades. Just like the steamship lines opened the world to the mass movement of people and goods, the time has come for space the frontier to open.

This is what 6.94 days mean:

Cost has fallen by 10X in just 10 years

The cost has dropped from $54,500 / Kg to on a shuttle to $2,720 / Kg on a Falcon 9

Cost compression is the game-changer for opening up a new economy. Imagine if 89 million dollar Airplanes had to be manufactured after every flight — travel would be done for the rarest purposes. There would be no tourism, business deals and many ideas would not have seen the light of day.

Cost compression for a mode of travel means the birth of ideas as collaboration potential grows.

The Birth of a New Economy is here — “The Space Economy”

The age of micro-economies is here such as — “The Creator Economy”, “The Circular Economy”, and now “The Space Economy”

For the first time, a new economy is opening up with the power of digital running at full steam. Beyond the physical possibilities like space mining — digital compute in space means digital space businesses such as:

  • Finding the best rock to mine
  • Route optimization when orbiting
  • Sorting through space debris to prevent disasters

Space is the most complex frontier man has ever explored. Disaster lurks in all corners. Merging the Digital Economy with the Space Economy creates an ocean of possibilities in building the fastest growing economy the world has seen.

Imagine if Star Wars had the power of Digital Compute?
